MSUM art professor Zhimin Guan will offer his formidable painting talents to the winner of this bid. He will paint two small portraits of people of the buyer’s choosing. Here are examples of his work on both metal and canvas – the winning bidder will have their choice of medium as well. Over the past twelve years, Guan’s work has exhibited in more than 100 group exhibitions and 12 single artist shows throughout the United States and China. He was recently awarded the 2010 McKnight Fellowship Grant from the Lake Region Arts Council.
