Being a landscape photographer and a golfer, it isn’t surprising that these two interests would converge for Gudmundson. Although he normally works in black and white, he says that the sculpted terrain of this golf course demanded color. Over the last 35 years, Gudmundson’s work has exhibited widely and is part of many permanent collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco, and the Reykjavik Museum of Photography in Iceland.
