Many Fargoans will remember the old residency hotel that bore the name “Fargoan” until a few years ago. If they don’t, Kessler’s watercolor, which won the Gold Medal at the 2008 Red River Watercolor Society exhibition, will surely jog their memory. This work also received an honorable mention in the Rhode Island Watercolor Society National Watermedia Competition.
