While living in Palo Alto, Ca., Schlossman studied painting with Abstract Expressionist Richard Bowman, absorbing the philosophies and vision behind his lyrical and metaphorical work. With this work, Schlossman continues that intuitive artmaking, exploring color and emotion while reaching for the sublime. A Fargo native, Schlossman has created a large body of abstract painting and is also a concert violinist.
