Here, Volk shows the results of a new technique, one in which he applies toner to lithographic plates and stone in an attempt to develop a more painterly approach to lithography. Volk teaches printmaking at Minnesota State University Moorhead and directs the Hannaher’s, Inc., Print Studio at Plains Art Museum.
