Jamie Hohnadel is a high school senior from Kindred, N.D. She received gold and silver keys in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and her work has been published in NDSU’s Northern Eclecta. “When I was younger, I had big dreams,” Jamie said. “I feel this piece represents the yearning I felt to achieve my dreams and the relief I now feel as I watch them come true.”
Jamie’s image was chosen as the winner of our Portrait Project. In addition to being in the Gala art auction, this image is also being used as the Museum’s Facebook profile photo for the month of April.
