Step inside the Buzz Lab Hive at Red River Market! Taste different varieties of honey, make a community bee nest, and have your fortune “pollinated” by the 2017 Buzz Lab teen interns. 

Music in the Park: The Bazillions

Heritage Garden and Amphitheater, Woodlawn Park, 1st St. & 6th Ave. S, Moorhead

Stop by Plains Art Museum’s Heritage Garden for food trucks, music making, art activities, and live music by The Bazillions, a kid-friendly rock and roll band! Heritage Garden is a short walk from the StreetsAlive! Route.

Movie in the Park
Saturday, September 9, 8:00 – 10:30 PM
Heritage Garden and Amphitheater, Woodlawn Park, 1st St. & 6th Ave. S, Moorhead

Join us at Heritage Garden, a sculpture garden and amphitheater adjacent to Woodlawn Park in Moorhead, for a screening of the family friendly 2016 film Zootopia. Popcorn and blankets will be provided.

Squares, Nudes and Revolution: Narratives of Modern Art, Part 1

Class time: August 22 & 31, September 5, 12, 21, 26 & 28 • 3:30 – 5:10 PM each day
In Collaboration with Minnesota State University Moorhead, Led by Dr. Anna Arnar

These seminar lectures focus on some of the most revolutionary moments in 20th-century Art between 1900 and 1940 that ushered in abstract art and experimental practices in collage, film, performance, photography, architecture and design. This class will delve into the writings of artists and critics of the time as they attempt to articulate their groundbreaking goals in manifestos, poems, booklets and newspaper articles. Explore the opening years of the 20th-century that introduced major social, political and technological changes that profoundly shaped the modern age.
