Resident Artist Series: Image Transfers on Clay

Class time: Two-day class: Monday & Wednesday, March 6 & 8, 6 – 9 PM

Join ceramic artist Megan Mitchell for a hands-on course on printmaking and image transfer on clay. Strengthen your decorating techniques as you add imagery, pattern, and texture to your ceramic work by using printmaking processes such as block printing and screen printing. Learn to print directly onto clay slabs or transfer images from paper to tile forms. Students will be encouraged to use the techniques to create imagery and patterns that are unique to them. Open to students with any level of experience with clay, including beginners.

Megan Mitchell Artist Talk: Thursday, March 9 • 6–7 PM • Free and open to the public
