Join us on Monday, January 21 to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day! We’ll host a day full of events honoring Dr. King, including:
- Free hands-on ceramic heart-making experiences at 10 AM, 1 PM, and 2:30 PM (registration is closed)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. in American Art / Talk by Colleen Sheehy, Plains Art Museum CEO& Director – 11 AM
- Musical performance by Chris Kenney, Fargo-Moorhead Opera Performer and Concordia College Student – 12 PM
- Theatrical performance by members of Theatre B – 12:30 PM
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Life & Legacy / Talk by Paul Harris, MSUM History Professor – 1 PM
With this event, the Museum, Fargo-Moorhead Opera and Theatre B kick off our collaboration for Giving Hearts Day, a project of Impact Foundation to raise funds for non-profits on one day: February 14, 2013.
