The Center is open during regular Museum hours as well as for scheduled classes and Open Studio.
Museum closed on these holidays and dates:
4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, December 25 (Christmas Day), and January 1 (New Year’s Day)

Free days: admission to the Museum galleries is free every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

Free Summer Admission to Active Duty Military
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums nationwide that offers free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Plains Art Museum is proud to take part in this program, and will offer free admission to military members who present a valid military ID, along with family of up to five guests. Plains Art Museum offers free gallery admission to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with disadvantaged people or people with disabilities.
