Initially, we realized that the height of the Museum had the potential to dwarf any piece placed on the sculpture pad. These works are a way to connect the Museum to the cement pad. The banner creates one sweeping motion of text reading “WHERE’S YOUR ( ) AT?” This text allows viewers to fill in the blank with any person, object, or feeling and may lead them to further questioning: where is their mom, car, smil, dignity, or cat at? The banner would be placed from the top of the museum down to the base of the sculpture.
