Human trafficking program on March 5

Plains Art Museum will host “IdeaExchange: Human Trafficking,” a free community conversation on March 5 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Members of the Road to Williston Collective in Duluth will share stories of their work on display in Bakken Boom: Artists Respond to the North Dakota Oil Rush.

The collective’s installation was created in response to the increasing numbers of Native American women and girls subject to human trafficking and the resistance movements that have emerged to fight this problem. Local advocates for human rights also will lend insights to the discussion. Space is limited, register at or call 701-551-6100.

Plains Art Museum is located at 704 1st Ave. N. in downtown Fargo.
