Plains Art Museum will host its seventh annual Indigenous Art Fair on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10 am – 5 pm at the Museum. The public is invited to shop for high-level contemporary and traditional Indigenous art as we kick off the holiday season!
The expanded event will feature 30 Indigenous artists from North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and from around the region. The public can take part in a t-shirt printing project with MState Professor, John Cox featuring artwork from artist John Hitchcock. At 1 pm, Attendees are also invited to watch a dance demonstration by the Buffalo River Singers and Dancers, highlighting the Waŋna niš niyepi exhibition. Tee’s Tacos will be serving up Frybread Tacos and Buffalo Wild Rice Chili starting at 11:30 am.
