Kid Quest: Finding Faces

March 07, 2026, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Have you ever looked at a tree and seen a face in the bark? Or watched the clouds to see fantastical creatures float by? Then you might have experienced the phenomenon, pareidolia, which is the tendency to see faces in random objects. Let’s explore pareidolia during Kid Quest: Finding Faces as we make unique and creative shapes to find faces and creatures in!

Kid Quest is a FREE family program for all ages! This event features activities that help you explore the Museum galleries, local community booths, and an opportunity for artmaking in the Center for Creativity.

Community Engagement programs are made possible with funding from Xcel Energy Foundation, Alex Stern Family Foundation, Otter Tail Corporation Foundation, and Kiwanis Club of Fargo.

Treaties are living documents that are "the supreme law of the land" and remain legally binding agreements that establish the political relationship between Native Nation and the United States government. These agreements have established land boundaries, resource rights, reservations; they determine Tribal Nation citizenship and outline mutual obligations.
