Student Tours

Gallery + Studio Tour

Starting at $4 per student / starting at $2 per student for schools with 50% free and reduced lunch. Free for a limited number of adult chaperones.

Gallery + Studio is a 90-minute experience designed for Pre-K through 12th grade students led by Plains Art Museum educators. The experience includes an interactive, inquiry-based tour of Museum exhibitions followed by a trip to the Center for Creativity to engage in a printmaking experience. Reservations along with a minimum of 10 participants are required.

Fee will be waived for 1 adult chaperone per 10 students. Plains Art Museum requires at least one chaperone for every 15 students.

Guided Student Tour

Guided student tours are a 60-minute experience designed for Pre-K through college students led by Plains Art Museum educators. The group will engage in an interactive, inquiry-based experience in the Museum galleries. Reservations are required.

Self-Guided Student Tour

Adult Tours

Guided Adult Tour

Starting at $4 per person

Guided tours are a 60-minute experiences led by Plains Art Museum educators. Tour length may be modified upon request. Guided tour groups will engage in close looking and inquiry-based experiences in the Museum galleries. Reservations are required. Requests for specific topics will be considered by the Education Department.

Scheduling + Availability

We require a minimum of three weeks’ advance notice to schedule a group tour. Large groups (60+) are encouraged to book tours at least six weeks in advance. To schedule a visit, please complete the request form below.
