This Member Morning, we’re excited to welcome special guest artist Rimer Cardillo. Cardillo’s exhibition, Deep Ecology, is opening on August 28th. Since the 1960s, Cardillo’s work has explored the critical intersections of politics, economics, and ecological devastation – highlighting the alarming decline of animal species and plant life. His art also underscores how the systemic oppression of Indigenous communities is deeply intertwined with environmental destruction, challenging us all the reconsider our relationship with nature. Galleries will be opened early for members and donors, and coffee and pastries will be provided. We hope to see you there!
