Join Theatre NDSU and Plains Art Museum for the premiere of “The Ugly Duckling”, an original, interactive play for audiences age 18 months to four years. Following the 30-minute play, toddlers and their family can enjoy story time and go on an animal safari in the Plains Art Museum galleries.
“The Ugly Duckling” will be held at the Plains Art Museum on Saturday, May 12. Shows will be presented at 10:00 am & 11:00 am, with a pre-show art project led by the Plains Art Museum beginning 20 minutes prior to each performance.
“The Ugly Duckling” is an original adaptation of the Hans Christian Anderson Classic. Journey with the ugly duckling as she searches for her tribe. Will she fit in with the wiggly ducks, or the hip geese, or the dancing cat? Maybe not, but she will sure learn a lot on the way.
Tickets are $5 and are available through the NDSU Box Office at (701) 231.7969 or online at www.ndsu.edu/
