Kent Kapplinger is a Professor of Art emphasizing in printmaking and drawing at North Dakota State University, where he is also Director/Master Printer for the department’s Printmaking, Education, and Research Studio (PEARS) Institute. His work addresses socio-environmental issues and focuses on balance, order, and regeneration.
Anna Johnson received her BFA from NDSU in 2010, where she was a student of Kapplinger’s. Johnson is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. Her work seeks to bridge a gap between the world she lives in and the culture she came from.
