Art + Autism: Weaving Together

Explore texture and art by Native American women artists in the exhibition Waasamoo-Beshizi through hands-on art and movement stations. After a snack break, create a weaving project out of soft yarns and ribbons.

These sessions are developed and instructed by Plains Art Museum Education Staff and Special Education professionals and are designed for families with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Parents/caregivers may request an orientation prior to the event – contact education@plainsart.org to schedule.
