Giving Hearts, Feeding Souls

Come back and warm your heart and soul at Plains Art Museum this Giving Hearts Day. On Thursday, February 9 from 11 am – 2 pm, listen to The Cropdusters while enjoying nine different chilies. You will also receive an artist-made ceramic bowl for a donation of $35 or more. Many thanks to our chili donors from Bernbaum’s, Catering by Concordia, Chef’s Table, Mezzaluna, VIP Catering, Urban Foods, and chef Sara Watson, as well as Plains Art Museum volunteers and staff. Come early! Supplies are limited. Make sure to get here early, supplies are limited.

A Little Grey For Color

Donald D. Powell, a Fargo native, was a prolific, award-winning architect and a keen art collector. Powell amassed a sizeable collection of European and American modern art in an array of media. He donated much of his impressive collection to the Plains Art Museum in several installments in 1999, 2000, 2002-3, 2005-9, and 2013.
