An Evening of Wonderment: Plains Art Museum Announces its 2023 Spring Gala
Press Release
For Immediate Release (April 2023)
Fargo, ND – On Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 7 pm – midnight, Plains Art Museum and its board of directors invites you to an evening of wonderment and delight in its 26th annual Spring Gala: Wonderland.
Spring Gala: Wonderland will feature luminous light and sound design from Livewire, hors d’oeuvres and libations from Chef’s Table, desserts from Nichole’s Fine Pastry and Café, and a wine tasting by 26-year sponsor, Happy Harry’s Bottle Shops. Guests are encouraged to dance the night away to music from Mae Simpson and Star IV. The event will also feature a surprise performance in partnership with Fargo Moorhead Community Theater (FMCT). Gala attendees also get a chance at the Museum’s wine wall for $100, or to bid for a variety of artworks in the Spring GalaSilent Auction of Art. This year’s auction features over 100 artists!
“The Spring Gala is not only one of the most anticipated community parties of the year, but also one of the most impactful in supporting arts access and education. Plains Art Museum wouldn’t be what it is today without the Gala and its supporters. A big thank you goes to the hundreds of Gala attendees and its dozens of volunteers and sponsors!”
– Andy Maus, Director & CEO of Plains Art Museum
Co-chairs Bill and Emily Brooks will greet Museum guests as they gather for an evening of fun and philanthropy. Attire for the Spring Gala is often creative, however, attendees are encouraged to wear whatever makes them feel good for the evening out.
The Spring Gala supports PlainsArt4All, the Museum initiative offering free general admission for all visitors, and various educational programs. Tickets are available for purchase online at https://one.bidpal.net/wonderland23/welcome for $125 before April 21, and $150 leading up to the event with discounts for members available.
