On Thursday, October 3rd 6 – 6:45 pm, Dr. Danielle Gravon – Chief Curator and Director of Collections and Exhibitions at Plains Art Museum, will lead a themed tour of the exhibition FULL DISCLOSURE. The theme is “Inspired by Art History”. Dr. Gravon will talk about key artworks in the exhibit that borrow from and alter visual cultures of the past. She will provide side-by-side comparisons to show how several contemporary artists represented in FULL DISCLOSURE engage with art history to reclaim agency over how queer and female bodies are represented.
