Join us for a special guided tour of Convergence: Health & Creativity – New Work by Anne Labovitz on Thursday, February 27, from 6:00–6:45 PM at the Plains Art Museum. Led by a member of our curatorial team, this immersive tour offers an in-depth look at Labovitz’s visionary exhibition, which explores the dynamic relationship between art, wellness, and human connection.

Labovitz’s work blends light, color, and text to create installations of visual optimism, drawing from extensive research and interviews with healthcare professionals in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area. Through Relational Listening, a practice Labovitz developed to foster deep engagement and emotional resonance, her artworks invite contemplation and interaction.

This tour will highlight key themes in Convergence, including community, well-being, and creative expression, while offering insights into Labovitz’s process and inspirations. Visitors will also have the opportunity to engage with the interactive Well-Being Wall II, contributing their own reflections to the exhibition.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore Convergence in a thoughtful, guided setting. Whether you’re drawn to the intersection of art and health or simply looking for an inspiring museum experience, this tour offers a meaningful way to engage with Labovitz’s transformative work.

Four Centuries of Creativity

This exhibition represents four centuries of art created by remarkable women who struggled against gender bias to take their places in history. Until the twentieth century, women were frequently denied formal training and often had difficulty showing and selling their work.
