These areas of support are all necessary to keep Plains Art Museum functioning as the only accredited art museum in North Dakota. PlainsArt4All General Fund

Donations to PlainsArt4All General Fund keep the museum operational and general admission FREE for all. This area of designation is used all throughout the museum where the highest need arises.

Education

Gifts to the Education department support classes, programs, workshops, scholarships, and other educational initiatives offered by Plains Art Museum. Plains Art Museum is unique in not only being accredited, but also being home to a print studio, ceramic studio, and 2D studio space.

Endowment

The Endowment provides long term support for Plains Art Museum, providing high-quality art experiences for multiple generations. If you are a North Dakota resident, you may also be eligible for the ND Tax Credit. Learn more here.

Curatorial

Donating to the Museum’s Curatorial fund supports high-quality, accessible exhibitions. Plains Art Museum’s accreditation allows the Museum to borrow artwork from other museums and collections across the country, putting nationally recognized artists into conversation with the best artists in the region. Each year, the Museum presents 12-24 unique exhibitions, keeping the art viewing experience fresh and interesting for the community. See our current, past, and future exhibitions here.

Connections Campaign

The Connections Campaign is Plains Art Museum’s next step in enhancing what the Museum already has to offer for the community, ensuring the Museum grows in tandem with the wider metro. The goals of this campaign are to make the Museum radically accessible, a community connectivity hub, and a crown jewel for the region.
