Art + Autism: Exploring Color + Water

April 26, 2025, 10:00 am to 11:30 am

Art + Autism is a family program which centers youth with Autism in an art exploration experience. In collaboration with Ausome Explorers, a group of local special education professionals, we will provide hands-on art activities and a guided art making experience. Using color and water, we will learn about the Convergence exhibition and the artist’s creative practice. Then, in the studio, our teacher will show a variety of watercolor resist techniques and we can choose our favorites to make a unique painting. For ages 4-10. Free with registration.

Treaties are living documents that are "the supreme law of the land" and remain legally binding agreements that establish the political relationship between Native Nation and the United States government. These agreements have established land boundaries, resource rights, reservations; they determine Tribal Nation citizenship and outline mutual obligations.
