Art + Autism: Summer Artventure

June 29, 2023, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Join our summer Art + Autism Workshop at the Plains Art Museum! We will come together to explore wearable art, enjoy a snack, and create a custom cape that represents our unique selves. These sessions are developed and instructed by Plains Art Museum Education Staff and Special Education professionals and are designed for families with children on with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The event is free but registration is required. The family in attendance should not register but plan to attend. Alatera McCann, Community Programs Coordinator, will email the listed primary contact before the event date with a social story and welcome letter.

Parents/caregivers may request an orientation prior to the event – contact amccann@plainsart.org to schedule.
