Art + Autism Workshop

October 16, 2021, 10:00 am to 11:30 am

We welcome you to the fall Art + Autism Workshop at the Plains Art Museum! We will explore Color + Line during a welcome activity, an interactive walk in one exhibition space, have a snack, and create our own work to take home!

These sessions are developed and instructed by Plains Art Museum Education Staff and Special Education professionals and are designed for families with children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. This event is free but registration is requested. Parents/caregivers may request an orientation prior to the event – contact amccann@plainsart.org to schedule.

Treaties are living documents that are "the supreme law of the land" and remain legally binding agreements that establish the political relationship between Native Nation and the United States government. These agreements have established land boundaries, resource rights, reservations; they determine Tribal Nation citizenship and outline mutual obligations.
