Chili Bowl & Concert

February 13, 2020, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Listen to the Cropdusters while enjoying seven different kinds of piping hot, homemade chilis prepared by local restaurants, caterers, and Museum staff and members. Receive a FREE custom-made ceramic bowl created by local potters with a $15 (or more) donation.

• Joseph Brunner – Mezzaluna
• Sara Watson – Mosaic Catering
• Kent Larson – Chef’s Table Catering
• Jeff Reitz – Urban Foods Catering
• Sam Wai, Lauren Thompson, and Jim Witt

On Giving Hearts Day, your donation of $15 or more to Plains Art Museum is magnified by match funding from two anonymous donors who are providing $5,250 when we raise at least that amount or more. To help keep the Museum general admission free for exhibitions, as well as allow us to offer to the community affordable events and classes, we invite you to give back on Giving Hearts Day, Thursday, February 13. We are excited to be part of this amazing statewide event, organized by Dakota Medical Foundation and Impact Foundation.

They Promised Things to Each Other

Treaties are living documents that are "the supreme law of the land" and remain legally binding agreements that establish the political relationship between Native Nation and the United States government. These agreements have established land boundaries, resource rights, reservations; they determine Tribal Nation citizenship and outline mutual obligations.
