Plains Art Museum is proud to host author, poet, and playwright Marcie Rendon as she speaks about her new book Girl Gone Missing for an evening you must not miss.
Marcie Rendon is an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation, and has published four nonfiction children’s books and four published plays. Rendon is a recipient of the Loft’s Spoken Word Immersion Fellowship in 2016-2017, and is a community arts activist who supports other native artists/writers/creators to pursue their art. Free.
The Queer Ecology Hanky Project (QEHP) is an ongoing traveling exhibition organized by Vee Adams and Mary Tremonte that features over one hundred and twenty artists from across North America.

Powell amassed a sizeable collection of European and American modern art in an array of media. He donated much of his impressive collection to the Plains Art Museum in several installments in 1999, 2000, 2002-3, 2005-9, and 2013.
