Kid Quest: Thinking of Spring

Spring is on its way, or at least we hope it is! Join us on April 1st to welcome the season with a bright and fun pop-up project. Visiting blooming artwork in the galleries will give us inspiration to create spring-themed sculptures of insects and flowers.

Kid Quest is a FREE program designed for the whole family to explore and create at your own pace. Each month has a unique theme with new artwork to explore and art projects to create.

The gallery features over 90 works by talented artists from all over the country. The proceeds of the 2026 Spring Gala Art Auction support living artists as well as Plains Art Museum, the only accredited art museum in North Dakota.

They Promised Things to Each Other

Treaties are living documents that are "the supreme law of the land" and remain legally binding agreements that establish the political relationship between Native Nation and the United States government. These agreements have established land boundaries, resource rights, reservations; they determine Tribal Nation citizenship and outline mutual obligations.
