This iconic song cycle takes on unprecedented depth through a unique collaboration between music and visual art. As each of the 24 songs unfolds, you’ll be immersed in the emotional landscape of the cycle, accompanied by 24 original abstract paintings created specifically for this performance by acclaimed local artist Marjorie Schlossman.
Marjorie approached this project with remarkable sensitivity—reading the English translations, absorbing the music, and responding with intuitive visual interpretations. A pillar of our local arts community, her generosity and artistic vision have transformed Winterreise into a shared experience of remarkable depth.
