Bell Insurance Presents: Summer Gala Take Two: Déjà Vu at Plains Art Museum

Press Release
For Immediate Release (June 2021)

Fargo, ND – It’s back! Plains Art Museum announces its gala, Take Two: Déjà Vu, on Friday August 13, 2021 from 7:00 pm – midnight. After last year’s gala was cancelled due to COVID-19, the Museum is thrilled to host this exciting, and safe, event.

As its theme suggests, Take Two: Déjà Vu will feature many of the same components of the planned 2020 gala, with hors d’oeuvres and libations from VIP Catering, desserts from Nichole’s Fine Pastry, and a wine tasting by Happy Harry’s Bottle Shops. Guests will also enjoy performances from FM Aerial Movement Arts and music from Jessica Vines all enhanced by illustrious light and sound design from Livewire. Allow your senses to take in the sites, enjoy the libations and food, all while bidding on the largest art auction in the region, featuring over 70 artists this year in support of arts access and education.

”After the awful year that we have all had, we couldn’t be more excited to be able to gather again in support of PlainsArt4All free admission to the Museum and in celebration of creativity and community. The Gala is always anticipated, but this year’s event will be ‘over-the-top’ fun!” – Andrew Maus, Plains Art Museum Director & CEO.

Co-chairs Suzanne and Scott Senske and Dan and Amanda Francis, along with Plains Art Museum, invite the public to gather for an evening of fun and philanthropy. Attire for the Summer Gala is often creative, but attendees are asked to wear whatever will make the event most fun for them.

The Summer Gala is not only Fargo’s most anticipated art party. It is also an incredible fundraiser that provides tens-of-thousands of dollars in support of the Museum’s educational programs and the PlainsArt4All General Fund, which enables the Museum to offer free general admission for all visitors. Tickets are available for purchase online at plainsart.org or here for $100 prior to July 16, and $120 leading up to the event with discounts for members available.

Plains Art Museum is the largest and only accredited art museum in North Dakota. It is your nonprofit art museum and education center, supported by over 800 individuals and organizations. The Museum and its Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity are located at 704 First Avenue North in downtown Fargo.
