Accessibility

Plains Art Museum values all current and potential visitors in the community.  Museum programs and activities do not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission, access, or employment.  Further, the Plains Art Museum is committed to developing activities and programs that are equally accessible to all citizens.

The value and effort the Museum placed upon accessibility resulted in the Universal Access Award for Creative Design from the Mayor’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities. This award qualified the Museum on a state level for the award, which was also received. “Universal Access Award for Creative Design” by the Governor’s Americans with Disabilities Act Consortium is an important designation, which demonstrates that the Plains Art Museum is committed to accessibility.

Plains Art Museum meets all ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards. If you should need special assistance, please contact the Museum at 701.232.3821.
