Creative Voices Talk: Jessica Metcalfe

Join us for a conversation with Native American fashion scholar Dr. Jessica R. Metcalfe (Turtle Mountain Chippewa). Metcalfe is the owner of Beyond Buckskin, a website and boutique dedicated to promoting and selling Native American made fashion. She has co-curated exhibitions and taught college courses in Native American studies, studio art, art history, and literature. Her current work focuses on American Indian art, clothing, and design from all time periods, with an emphasis on contemporary artists.

These agreements have established land boundaries, resource rights, reservations; they determine Tribal Nation citizenship and outline mutual obligations.
