Plains Art Museum’s Spring Gala is the premier art party in the region. Started in 1997 and continuing ever since, the Gala is an opportunity to network with other likeminded individuals who value creative, resilient, and welcoming communities. With all proceeds benefiting Plains Art Museum, the Spring Gala offers guests a one-night glimpse into what Plains Art Museum does year-round: collaborate, inspire creativity, and bring the community together for joyful celebration.
The event includes the region’s best caterers, delectable desserts, the region’s largest wine tasting, an upbeat band, an art auction featuring diverse artists, and other creative experiences. Each Gala year has a new theme, and guests often draw inspiration from the theme to create one-of-a-kind, creative outfits. The Spring Gala has been important to Plains Art Museum as it is often one of the first ways long-time Museum members get introduced to the Museum and the local arts community. The Gala is also unique as it offers a chance for business leaders, the area’s workforce, new community members, and local artists to mingle and get to know each other in a fun, creative atmosphere.
